Features

Hermcol^®Red CN, a barium lake, is one of the most important red pigments for use in printing inks. It is used in disposable printed products, especially in sheet and web offset, gravure, and flexographic printing inks. This product is a comparatively strong and brilliant pigment within its range of shades. Hermcol^®Red CN has good fastness to a series of organic solvents. It has excellent heat stability as a colorant for plastics, and exhibits medium tinctorial strength. This product may also be employed in paints where it satisfies the fastness specifications, especially regarding light fastness.

Application

Hermcol^®Red CN is more yellow than Pigment Red 57: 1, called Warm Red, has high tinting strength and vividness, and is sensitive to acid / alkali. Used in printing inks, good solvent resistance and heat stability (200℃/ 10min); used in water-based flexographic inks, molecular metal and base ink alkali agent to reduce stability; used in rubber and plastics, in HDPE Medium heat resistance 260℃/ 5min, can be used for food, cosmetics and medicine coloring.
