Features

Hermcol^®Red 2G, a dimethylperylimide compound, is probably the most significant member of its class. It is perylene red pigment with outstanding resistance to weather and solvents. It has strong light fastness, heat resistance, and the color strength is also very high. The extremly low particle size distribution gives very good gloss, transparency and sedimentation properties in aqueous systems. Hermcol^®Red 2G preparations are especially suitable for water-based transparent wood stains.

Application

Hermcol^®Red 2G is recommended for water based inks, solvent inks, UV inks, automotive paints, industrial paints, powder coatings, printing pastes, PVC, rubber, PS, PP, PE, PU. They can also be used for other applications such as aqueous emulsion paints, glass paints, water-colors, latex and water resistant inks, inks for fiber-tip fineliner and roller-tip pens. A final evaluation in the customer system is necessary.
